This is a good book by David Walliams and although it is not as good as some of his other books it is still worth 5 stars. In this book a UFO crashes in a field outside Ruth's house and Ruth finds an alien. She soon become friends with the alien and together they go on an adventure while being chased by the cops. My favourite character is Uri, a three-legged dog who is really brave, and is named after a spaceman Uri Gagarin who was the first man in space.

I would recommend this book for fans of David Walliams.

No problem with book, but MAJOR problem with guy who delivered. Had the audacity to say he handed it to me, he DID NOT, he left in just inside the door to my block as he was too IDLE, LAZY to walk up 20 stairs (divided into 3 flights)

I bought this as a book to read to my son at bedtime. We are 10 chapters in an even I'm just as excited to read our next couple of chapters each night. This evening my son was actually waiting patiently with the book for me to come read to him which was lovely to see. Im looking forward to continuing the adventure each night been a great read so far. Pleased I decided to buy it.

This was just rubbish. David Walliams is my favourite author but this is definately his worst book. I read
14 chapters hoping the book would pick up, it didn't. Simply put, this book was too slow and had no adventure.

the story isn't very well thought through, the characters are all one dimensional, all adults are evil and stupid and for some reason Donald trump is president (even though its set in the early 1960s). lots of bottoms and bottom burps but not much else. terrible ending too.

it felt like a first draft rather than a finished book
