Mine did not work properly.
on 19 March 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
From the prior reviews, I knew this could be hit or miss. My screen was delivered and packaged well. I watched the YouTube videos, and installation went well. Screen worked but the left 1/8 of the screen would not function. I tried reinstalling and trouble shooting several times. The rest of the screen worked perfectly, just too frustrating to not have the left edge of the screen be visible or function. Returned the item. Tried a different brand with higher ratings (and a higher price) and it worked the first time.
Don't Even Look At This One... Move On To Another

"Can you take a picture and clean the connectors according to the video link provided." This was the response I received when I contacted the seller about this item. After painstakingly (you know what im talking about) connecting this to my phone, I realized there was a big vertical line on the reboot. Once it did reboot, 1/5 of the left side had a vertical black line. And the screen was not even responsive. The screen-to-be-replace was more "functional" than this one.

I thought it was just operator error at first but then I noticed that I wasn't the only one having issues with it. One minute I'm on a phone call that I HAVE to be on speaker for because the slightest touch from my face mutes the phone, pushes buttons, or activates face time and the next, I'm trying to text or click on an email and I have to touch it a hundred times before it registers. I was on a call today where I had to have it on speaker because every time I tried to turn it off, it would activate FaceTime and when that failed, it automatically went back into speaker. I never had these issues before this screen.
Do not buy or you will lose your money. Terrible.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. This repair unit is not complete. This thing caused me to throw away an entire IPHONE 5C becasue I became so frustrated with how awful this screen sets you up for failure. You will have to remove some very delicate pieces from the back of your phone if you try to put this on. Tiny screws everywhere. Just terrible. Do not buy this or you will regret it!
You need to be an expert to install this product. Good quality, but you have to transfer all the smaller parts from old to new.
on 12 July 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
I rated this product 3 stars, not because of any defects or quality issues, but because if you don't have experience replacing the home button and peripheral parts, it will be very difficult to have a successful screen replacement. Looking back, I realize that I didn't properly seat the proximity sensor, among other things. That's the part that controls the touch screen functions. The parts were very small and many of them had to be moved from the old screen to the new replacement screen including the camera and filter. It took almost 2 hours to change out all the parts and in the end it didn't work properly. And I need to reiterate that it didn't work because of installer error; i.e. ME and had nothing to do with the quality of the product. If you don't have experience replacing iPhone screens, I strongly suggest spending the extra $25 and buying a replacement screen with all the smaller parts already installed. If you do that it'll only take about 10 minutes to change using a DIY video from YouTube. There were a total of 6 screws that needed to be removed and reinstalled. My second install went perfectly. If you have experience changing screens and the smaller parts, this product should work just fine.
