This phone is best due selfie camera... Only the FHD+ is not available in this phone also Snapdragon 660AIE..But the selfie are quit better in this phone than note 7 ... I had given this phone as a gift to mom on her birthday cause she like this I do.. 😀
Planning to buy Redmi Y3? Read my review & decide yourself, if it satisfies your needs. Bought Redmi Y3 in First sale, sharing my experience as below:
Front Camera(5/5) Rear Camera(4/5) Battery(5/5) Performance(4/5) Look(5/5)
Pros: - FRONT CAMERA: == Redmi Y series is known for Great Selfie Cams (to compete oppo/vivo ;) ),Y3 won't disappoint you here, it captures great selfie pics, with natural colors, not extra beauty like oppo/vivo. Captures well details, for that just enable 32MP mode. == When clicking selfies in low light, screen gets light up to white to provide extra light. == Palm selfie mode: which also great feature, just show your palm in camera & it will click selfie in 3 seconds, useful while using selfie stick. == Front camera records video in 1080p with Electronic Image Stabilization, which is great part.
- Rear camera performance is above average. It has EIS. - PERFORMANCE: Snapdragon 632 Processor which gives good performance, but not best at this price. - BATTERY LIFE: 4000 mAh: in moderate use which easily last for a day, In light usage, it lasts over a day and half. To charge from 0-100, it takes 2:30 hrs time. - IR Blaster. - Dedicated SD card support. - Gorilla Glass 5, LED notification. - Dual VoLTE. - Fingerprint is fast & responsive. - P2i water repellent coating: so it will save mobile from water splashes. - Gradient Blue with rainbow shade looks beautiful.
Cons: - Under direct sunlight, screen looks dull, even with 100% brightness. - Plastic body. - Widevine level L3: no HD content streaming from Netflix/Amazon prime. - Ads ;) but you can turn it off, in setting, just turn off "Show recommended content".
FINAL VERDICT: Buy Redmi Y3 only if, your primary need is selfie camera, other than that it is not great, little bit pricey. Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 is far better than Redmi Y3 except front camera, which offers Snapdragon 660, 1080p screen resolution & other features.
Extremely beautiful and well built. They have provided a free tpu case of kind of black color. So, don't panic, it won't be yellowish very soon. And the major highlight of this is camera. The 32mp front camera really superb. The photo comes out crisp and natural. Previously I was using realme1 but the main issue with that phone was edge detection in protrait mode. But in redmi phones the software optimization is very aggressive. So,when you will take a shot in portrait mode you won't find any such kind of issue. Therefore, I must say you your budget is under 10k and your main concern is camera, then you should go for this handset.
Have used the phone for one week(3 + 32 GB). Battery life is very good as promised but charging time is very long. Camera quality is good in this range but could have better. Fingerprint reader is very poor, worst in all the phones I have used. Phone weight is a bit more and felt heavy in hand. Screen to body ratio is also not good. SAR value is higher than other phones. In same price range Honor 10 lite is better.
The front side of the phone carries the 32MP selfie camera
Redmi Y3 is a good smartphone overall, with decent looks, good performance, rear cameras and battery. The display is quite vibrant and sharp for a smartphone at this price point. Redmi Y3 sports a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 12MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary depth sensor.
First of all, thanks to Amazon for delivering it in time.
This is a decent, average phone with an average back camera. Back camera lacks saturation and there is some delay in the shutter button. Front camera does it job well and live upto expectation. Performance: better than expected and the UI with MIUI 10.3 delivers its job of hassle free user experience. There are no issues of overheating or performance lag. Battery: Back up time is good and delivers a standby time of more than 1 day with average internet use. Display: Not top notch, better options available for those wanting to shell out a bit more bucks.
In terms of looks, it is a good looking phone with premium built quality.
My verdict on this is that for those wanting to shell out a few more bucks, either Redmi Note 7s or Redmi Note 7 pro would be a better option.
I need to share something that all should aware. When I installed shuttle cab app in this new phone and during verification it is showing that "This device is already registered with these phone numbers".so to use this app in have to use any of this phone numbers. The meaning of this is xiaomi used some used phones during manufacturing of this product as er my understanding. So we are using the old phone 📱 only with some advanced features.
