It is a kids musical instrument and that it is.
Positives: a cheap instrument with adequate quality of sound. You can change the instrument tone produced by pressing the keys (piano, guitar...).
Four animal sounds. Has some pre built melodies, the tempo of which can be adjusted. Volume is adjustable. You can record your own music. Reasonable build quality. Light weight.
Negatives: I purchased this product knowing very well that the distance traveled by the keys was minimal. It does not give the feel of a true piano key. Further, though the keys are painted, the actual key (electric switch, similar to those you see in some electrical equipments like washing machine's panel) is only the coloured circle inside the white rectangle rectangular. Even adults can miss pressing the exact circle. The back is not flat which means that when the kid presses the buttons at the edges the instrument can tilt or topple. While this design may be essential to let sound out, it is still a negative.
Improvable features: Though they highlight it as a feature, not having an on off switch is not a good idea. The instrument occasionally starts on its own without any key press (by a human or an object). But, it doesn't go on for ever. A child's hand holding the instrument encroaches on to the buttons especially the stop melody button. It would be better to have a broader border or even a place to hold the instruments on either side. The broader border may even give space for the speakers to be brought to the front. A socket to plug in 4.5V DC adaptor would have been nice. The instruction given against the RECORD button (in the packing of the instrument) can be improved.
If batteries are included in the purchase, it would be a good price deal, but additional 90 plus rupees should be spent for 3nos of batteries.
all the displayed buttons/key and icons are for illustration only, these are not press-type buttons/keys.
there is no OFF button, it keeps getting ON itself and sounding.
Secondly no light, kids are attracted towards light. It's a waste of money. I wish I could return it
