It is a wonderful book. It gives you and a through idea about Pran Sahab's life. I suggest people to read this book. I am thankful to Flipkart for getting me this book as I had already searched it in almost all the big books stores!. --Sarika Dec 24, 2011
A nice book which gives insight about the man called Pran. How he rose to become the villain of his times and then his transformation to a character actor. His childhood in pre-independence Pakistan and the friendships he made in the film industry. --icemanxi Feb 1, 2014
Have recently bought this book and finished reading most of it. Still couple of chapters left. Found it very interesting to get a glimpse of a man who successfully remained top notch actor through out his life. A very nice book to read. --TN Jul 25, 2013

This biography covered some of the aspects of his life which I knew but then I did not know them in exact details say for his love of sports was known to me.. that he fielded and supported a football team was news to me..
That he had acted in some of the top films of Amitabh Bachchan and was possibly responsible for getting Zanjeer to him through his influence.. it was not known to me that He would modestly suggest to him to possibly try a particular shot in a specific way and now we know from what brother Amitabh had written of him in the foreword to this book.. of a special relation the two shared.. No wonder, Amitabh relished the compliments from him on his performance in Zanjeer after 20 years.. when Pran Sahab accidentally got to see the film..
Well.. I am indeed privieged to write this review on his birthday today..
A few of his caliber dawned on Indian Cinema..
The book is definitely a big plus for his admirers.. me included..
Abhaya Sharma, Mumbai.
The way his human sides in the real life is presented with example and interviews of his collegues make the reading very engrossing.
