K. RAMALINGAM, Ph.D., is Managing Director, Super Airport Infrastructure (India), and Independent Director on the Board of CIAL Aviation Academy, Cochin International Airport. Earlier, he was Executive Director (IT) and Regional Executive Director (Southern Region), Airports Authority of India. Dr. Ramalingam has nearly four decades of professional experience. He has written a number of books, and has published and presented a large number of research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He holds fellowships and memberships of various professional bodies. | D. P. KOTHARI, Ph.D., is Vice Chancellor of VIT University, Vellore. Earlier, he was Professor at the Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He also served as Director-in-Charge, IIT Delhi (2005), Deputy Director (Administration), IIT Delhi (2003-06), Principal, National Institute of Technology Nagpur (1997-1998) and Head, Centre for Energy Studies, IIT Delhi (1997-1998). Dr. Kothari's fields of specialization include optimal hydro-thermal scheduling, unit commitment, maintenance scheduling, energy conservation, and power quality and energy systems planning and modelling. A recipient of several national awards, Dr. Kothari who contributed extensively to the specialized areas, guided 28 Ph.D.s and 60 M.Tech.s, authored 20 books on Power Systems and published 625 research papers in various national and international journals. | C. S. INDULKAR, Ph.D., has been Professor of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as well as Visiting Professor, University of Technology, Papua New Guinea. Prof. Indulkar has more than four decades of experience of teaching electrical engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
