**** UPDATE ****
Days after posting my review, the manufacturer contacted me and offered to replace the burned out unit free of charge, a few days later I received a new unit and it is working as advertise. Based on the service, I have upgrade my rating to excellent.
The only thing I noticed was the color was a little more rich than my other two identical displays. I adjusted the color and I was good to go.
If you’re like me and wondering if it works, it does.
Windows 10 PC
I understand that TVs aren't as sharp, nor is the color as accurate as computer monitors but I prefer the larger screen for normal office work and with this adapter it's much sharper than the native output from the laptop. Yes had to make some TV menu adjustments (used the TV remote to set the contrast to 25 percent,, turned off sharpening which makes the fonts easier to read, reduced brightness to about 50%, reduced color saturation to about 75%). I also like that this product is a great if you are away from your office or home and have to hook up to another device. It comes with the adaptors to hook up usual analog wire, DVI, or HDMI.
Also to my surprise, using a simple female USB to male micro USB adaptor, I was able to plug into my HP Stream 7 Windows tablet to the TV as well, picture just as sharp, even supported extending the screen from the tablet onto the TV. Buy this product, you won't disappointed.
Comfort at work is part of the equation, so high CPU demand kicking on a fan is undesirable. With my 3 monitor setup, its perfect. I suspect adding more adapters will require more CPU, though, and then the fan will be on more often. Having said that, if you are simply doing office tasks you will probably be ok up to 5-6 adapters and keep a reasonably low CPU demand. I wouldn't try more unless you have a really good computer with high end CPU, multiple USB 3.0 buses, etc., and don't mind the possibility of increased cooling fan noise.
I would buy this product again. Highly recommend.
