As described, the coldair option is not actually coldair ! either normal, it is bloody worm!!. wouldn't suggest if you are considering this for a coldair options. The overall quality of the products seems acceptable though.
This dryer looks cool and works fine if you don't intend to blow the ColdAir. BUT if you want "ColdAir" then just don't go for it... you'll most likely be disappointed.
The BIGGEST downside is the so called "Cool Shot" feature doesn't work at all. The air coming out from this feature is NOT AT ALL cool air, rather it's Hot air - only thing is it's less hot than the air from other two modes.
Philips should be careful and honest in what it advertises. This is really disgraceful and unacceptable from a global reputed brand like Philips.
TOO big and uses too much power - 1600W for what it delivers! Have similar products that use just around 1000W and perform much better.
Update: Been using it for a few months now, observation; BEST AVOIDED!!! It needs 250v to optimally work, anything lesser than that, you only get coldair from the blower. Being in a metro we very rarely get 220v, let alone 250v. I've switched back to my 7 years old 1000W dryer, works better than this one.
This product is really good.. Cool shot feature doesn't provide burst of coldair (as mentioned in features) instead gives very low heat air and is good for drying your hair without damaging them. The nozzle is detachable. It is very light and compact, very easy to carry and use.
