Product Description

This is fixed format book in Gujarati language.
Love your language, Love your motherland, Feel India.

These stories are very useful to connect your child with the roots of Indian culture. The Ancient Indian Moral Stories comprises of time tested universal ingredients for human molding - the parameters of IQ, EQ and SQ taken care of.

The stories of 'King Bali' and 'Bhakta Prahlad' have been all time favorites of elders and children both. The story of King Bali gives the message to be humble while in position of power. It reminds us of a still higher authority, the moral or spiritual authority more powerful than the burly King Bali.

The story of 'Bhakta Prahlad' instills the feeling of Trust in God, Trust in Devotion and the Power of God. Quite a few years back the most renowned scientist engaged in research in the field of genetic engineering while talking to a very credible international news magazine emphasized the necessity of a child born with spiritual inclination. According to the Sanatan Vedic Dharma, a Hindu way of life, being spiritual does not mean being life-negative, does not really mean renunciation only, but on the contrary it is being very open to life, being spiritual means to be life positive. All the Rishes, the seers or the mystics of the Vedas were married. The words 'Sannyas' or 'Sannyasi' are not found anywhere written in the Vedas. These Rishes were masters of the art of war, were even capable of fighting battles and they did, so that Truth prevailed. Being spiritual means to fight for righteousness and justice for the weak while keeping faith in God. Being spiritual means not to submit oneself to the negative demonic forces in life. The story of 'Bhakta Prahlad' is very important from this aspect. This is required to make this world a better place to live in.

The story of 'Maharaja Shivi' inspires the child to be generous to protect birds, animals and preserve environment as a whole. This story is very important since environment has become a very serious issue of concern for all of us.

The story of 'Dadhichi Rishi's self-sacrifice' instills the teaching of dedication and commitment towards motherland. This story inspires a child to be patriotic.

These stories are written, scripted in such a way so as to create the feel of love and warmth with which grandparents tell stories to their grandchildren. Sentences are framed in such a way and words are repeated at certain places to create this feel.

Children love colors. Colors help leave an everlasting impression on child's mind. In this real pictorial story book all the stories are first visualized and then actual portraits are created by skilled artists in mix-media of pastels and water-colors thereby transforming the reading of these stories into a wonderful amazing visual experience.
