5.0 out of 5 stars 4/5

I liked Part 1: 'Vyasa' more. But this one is solid too. From the illustrations point of view - hardly any distinguishing features in Karna, Arjun, Duryodhan, Yudhishtir to separate them from each other... apart from perhaps Karna & Bheema being the tallest in the two groups respectively. Am just being nitpicky. It is not a big deal. I Love this series. ❤️. More power to the creators. I will definitely purchase and read the coming parts in this series and add them to my collection. The two books are also a Terrific gifting option. Go for it, for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unprecedentedly lively book.
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 31 March 2022
Reading this book is a lifetime experience for me. Unique style of story telling and beautiful pictures create magic in every bit of this book. Moving frames, awesome colour contrasts, and bold lines let the reader experience the ERA of PANCHALI: THE GAME OF DICE. Even episode divider pages attract me with beautifully crafted synoptic heading and illustrations. Thank you for such an authentic work where PANCHALI is really black and beautiful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome

Brilliant writing. Mind blowing art. Shanka Banerjee and Shivaji Dasgupta have outdone themselves. This is the second in the series of graphic novel retelling of Mahabharata. Lot of modern nuancing. Visually it’s rich and layered and open to the readers interpretation. The first book is Vyasa. Building on this collection. Waiting for the next.
