The product falsely advertises its features - and yet Amazon will not allow for a return

If there were zero stars, I would give it - as my joint rating of both the product and the experience of buying this from Amazon. First of all, the authorized Amazon delivery person demanded a tip - a minor annoyance but hardly the biggest of the issues.
The main reason I bought this tv was for Hotstar and Prime Video, the two streaming services that I am subscribed to. The product describes both services as available.
However, upon installation by the Panasonic technician, we discovered that neither Prime Video nor Hotstar is available. This is where our ordeal started (and continues to unfold).
Amazon will not take the return without a technical inspection. This despite the Panasonic technician giving up. Why they won't take Panasonic's own word for it baffled me. They set up 'technical inspection' the next day, over a window of two hours in the evening. We spent those two hours waiting. Nobody showed up.
On connecting to Amazon's support, I was again put through a battery of questions on "what was wrong with the product" - something that I had conveyed in simple terms, both verbally and in writing, multiple times to both Amazon and Panasonic. There was no explanation given as to why their support visit did not take place. Another visit was not scheduled either.
The status of my return, of a falsely advertised product, remains unknown and in limbo.
