I was intrigued upon seeing these shoes. Could a ballet flat really be crossed over into an all-purpose shoe with a track-inspired outsole? Could I wear them to the office without anyone noticing that these are not “business shoes”? Can they be comfortable enough to wear all day?
Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I first tried them on, I thought they were a little tight. They have a very snug fit, but are not the least bit uncomfortable (which is really unusual). I don’t think I could wear the shoes with a thick sock -- only a thin sock or sock liner. I wear mine with PEDS sock liners. The PUMA Women's Asha completely covers the liner. After testing in the house for an hour or so, I went head and wore them out and about.
After wearing the Puma’s for pretty much non-stop for the past 5 days (10+ hours per day), I don’t have any regrets purchasing the shoes. The Puma’s are extremely comfortable. They don’t rub on my skin. They don’t hurt my feet. The shoes have nice support, a removable liner and great outsole. No more losing my footing on marble / tile / granite floors. Even getting caught in the rain won't be a problem. And they look great! I’ve received complements on the shoes and people asking what they are and where to buy them.
How often do you find a shoe that is perfect and for a reasonable price?
Perfect as in they look great with leggings, capris’, shorts, skirts, pants, jeans, athletic wear, etc.
Perfect as in wearing them around town while running errands, walking on uneven sidewalks in the city, traveling, to the office, to the yoga studio, an evening walk through the neighborhood?
The answer to these questions up until now is I've never found a single pair of shoes that go with so many clothes and so many activities.
If I could only take one pair of shoes with me on vacation – these would be the one.

(Major) CON: back opening edge is too high! cutting into my skin less than a hour of walking.. scraped/ rubbed off my skin (see photo) & as some other reviewers have complained-- hence 3 star rate. Vanity prevailed & kept these shoes...as it went with work & casual outfits. Luckily, fit is slightly big (lengthwise), found heel liners from pro-foot does the trick for now & overall fit is more secure. Hope Puma's next shoe design would be improved for those who suffered from what I/ past reviewers did...so far.
This version is cheaply made. The insoles are not attached — they literally were floating loose in the box when they arrived. The subtle pattern on the fabric is not so subtle anymore, and they fit differently. I got blisters the first time I wore these, and they continue to rub my heel. I don't know how or why PUMA changed these, but I wish they'd go back to the earlier version.
