This was such a beautiful book. Everything about it was good. The story was heartwarming. It is about the female protagonist, Holly, and how the letters her late husband wrote before he died, helped her survive and get over him. The protagonist was lovable and she was not perfect; she was real, like us. She too felt jealous of her friends (though it was not the harmful kind of jealousy) and sometimes she was afraid, terrified but she survived. Holly's bestfriends, Sharon and Denise and her family have been portrayed beautifully. Overall a really good read and it is in budget too. The delivery was on time.

How to cope up with the loss of someone you love? Its not easy. And when that person is your bestfriend, lover, companion, and husband. All these years when he was the only one you were depending upon. And suddenly when he vanished into the blue, you just keep wondering what to do now. Because you have no other option other than to cling on to the memories.😞😢😢😢 So this is the story of Gerry and Holly. And what else to pick up than this book in the valentine month. When Gerry was told by the doctor that he has very few time left in his hands, he knew that Holly is quite fragile, weak and emotional and will stop living after his death. So, he decided to write letters for Holly and kept those with the friends and family. Will Holly be able to live life again? (Read the book to find out...) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- And then there's another good news...Are you excited😜???? Or I am the only one jumping up🤔...Cecelia Ahern is coming up with the sequel of P.S. I Love You which is known as Postscript🙊🙈...
"Their plan had been very simple: to stay together for the rest of their lives. A plan that anyone within their circle would agree was accomplishable. They were bestfriends, lovers and soul mates, destined to be together, everyone thought. But as it happened, one day destiny greedily changed its mind." 💙✉️💙 PS, I Love You by Cecelia Ahern is a book about love, loss and moving on. It revolves around Holly, whose husband Gerry passed away because of brain tumour. She then discovers that her husband has left a few letters for her which are to be opened exactly when labelled. Because of those letters, her grief-stricken life takes a turn and she walks on the path of happiness once again. 💙✉️💙 The love which Holly and Gerry share is heart-touching. I craved to read more about them and to know more about their beautiful relationship. Needless to say, this book made me emotional at so many points. This book also highlights the power of family-love and friendship which mends a person like nothing else.
LOVE does not die even when the body does. You laugh and cry and smile and cry some more with Holly as she tries to find her identity in a world where her bestfriend and husband will never return. This book is about holding on to things that matter and knowing when to let go. Love is the only thing that transcends barriers of space and time.. and this book is a living proof of that.
P.S I Love you is a novel about holding on, letting go, and learning to love again... After being obsessed with the movie, i decided to give the book a try. It made me cry a few times. Its a story about Holly who lost her husband,Gerry to brain tumour. She not only lost her husband but also her bestfriend and identity with him. The rest of the story is how Gerry helps Holly overcomes the pain and mourning over her husband's death by sending her a package with ten envelopes to be opened over a period of ten months. Each letter offers specific instructions to guide Holly through grief, and ultimately to find love again
