Works well enough. I had my daughter test this out at college. It's a small appliance compared to the bigger food processors so she liked that for storage. She tested it out with carrots and apples. She hoped the apples would turn into apple sauce, and complained that they only chopped into little pieces. (She didn't add water). She was also a little frustrated at how the food stuck to the edges of the processor spout and top. But these are all beginner cook issues. Look at any chef on TV and their processor is a mess too. If you want neat and clean, use a cutting board and a knife. With processors, you save time but there is always a little more waste.
She had no issues with operation, powering on and off, blade use, etc. Very easy appliance to operate. She plans to use it for salads and light garnishments, such as adding some fresh veggies on top of cooked chicken or beef, and just have an overall healthier eating style. She's a runner so she liked that she can chop a bunch of fresh veggies and store them in a fridge for nibbling snacks. She's one of those who believes in several small meals a day. Definitely recommend this for college students, runners, beginning cooks who don't yet have need for a huge processor.
