Amish has taken us on a beautiful visual journey with the Siva Trilogy and the third and last book of the series was brilliantly cenceptualized and powerfully written. The author's protrayal of our loved Gods Ganesh, Karthik, Siva and Sati is simply awesome. Love the depth of each and every character, loved the intelligence behind every war strategy and loved the fact that the words weaved amazing visuals of ancient India. --Archana Jayarajah Mar 21, 2013
Cheers for fast delivery, i was somehow controlling my horses for this final part and what added to delight is the Quick Response Time of flipkart team.Amish has illustrated the whole Journey in a gigantic view with noble narration. It was the most awaited part and finally the story ends.Well one will definitely miss the War and the tactics that were in Second part but on moral grounds this part is up.what i was expecting a massive and a large scale war but if you go with the theme and crux of the whole phenomenon then this expectation is ruled out.Story definitely build up like that and one can expect a Mahabharat kind of scenario but i loved the way the whole story turned in the last few chapters.I am ardent follower of SHIVA and i loved the way Amish imagined Shiva. People go ahead and finish it up --Sanchit Kulshrestha Mar 20, 2013

I am actually an atheist now, after spending many years in worshiping God. But Amish felt the other way round, as he finally found his God, Shiva.
I bow low to Amish in respect, for his effort in creating this great book.
Anyone can write a story like 'Everyone has a Story', but not everyone can create larger than life characters like Amish, simultaneously expounding the valour of Indian mythology and how it can help us live a better life !
I bought only first part of the trilogy because I wanted to have it try.But Part 1 complled me to buy second and third book of this series.
After reading all 3 books I can say that you will not get bored . Though it is fiction based on some factual names and places, It will improve your thinking and you can relate some of the explanations dipicted in this books to real world .
Over all It is a mixture of fictions and facts and your perception for Shiva as god will completely change.
one more thing This book contains a rich vocabulary which can enhance your literature sense and you are going to learn new things which you can apply in your day to day conversation , speech and writting.
Fascinating series. Going to order Lord Ramchandra series.
must read by everyone.
What if lord shiva is one of human being born with same abilities just like You and me. His decisions made him survive with side of good. And People made him God.
Beautiful way of narration by Amish Tripathi
Someone mentioned, Amish is poulo coelho of the east.
I think paulo coelho is amish of west.
Lord ram give benediction.
Compared to action packed first two books, its bit boring because of its length and slow phase. Also this is not the type of climax you would be expecting from Shiva. It would have been better if it was shortened by at least 1/3rd . To be frank while reading the last half, I was reading it just because I have completed first two books and just wanted to know the climax.
The book leads on perfectly as you keep expecting an heroic end. But the reader gets disappointed, especially since the most descriptive & heroic war is not of the protagonist.
Having said that you still enjoy the read & realise the characters that the author has build will stay for you forever. Not as immortal gods, but as one of us ... mortal heroic humans!
Kuddos to the writer - Amish Tripathi!
Helps you remember Indian Mythology as Gods are portrayed as mortals with flaws and limitations.
Very captivating and a must read for young readers, adults and anyone interested in knowing why Shiva is considered the god of all gods in India.
