"Such is the exquisite, gossamer construction of Murakami's writing that everything he chooses to describe trembles with symbolic possibility" (Guardian)
"This book is undeniably hip, full of student uprisings, free love, booze and 1960s pop, it's also genuinely emotionally engaging, and describes the highs of adolescence as well as the lows" (Independent on Sunday)
"Catches the absorption and giddy rush of adolescent love... It is also, for all the tragic momentum and the apparently kamikaze consciousness of many of its characters, often funny and quirkily observed." (Times Literary Supplement)

We all have that moment in our life, when we lose all hope, everything in our world seems to fall apart.Yet, gradually the wheel of time keeps spinning and soon it becomes a part of our past.Norwegian wood is rather a collection of these moments. Its emotional, evocative and very toughing.
Norwegian wood is a brilliant story that explores very complicated relationships and
still can be very easily related to. I recommend it!
There is only one thing I am not satisfied about and that is bookmark. I have bought at least three four paperbacks and none of the times I have received a bookmark.
I request Amazon to do something about it.
