A sensory treat with a love story at its centre.

Celia and Marco are magically bound to compete against each other on the grand venue of the Circus. Each works their brand of magic to add and enhance the already wondrous circus. Their game inevitably ropes in others, innocent bystanders and admirers, and takes a darker turn as we are left turning the pages to find out the conclusion of this magical tale.

Those who loved Chocolate by Joanne Harris will definitely find The Night Circus a pleasurable excursion. I sure did. The constant time shifts threw me off a little but it all made sense in the end. Sort of.

With subtle hints and misdirections, Erin erects the impossible The Circus of Dreams in our imagination. This is a book that I'll revisit plenty of times to both revel and learn. Thank you, Erin.

A must read.... It's so beautiful and awesome... The whole visuals and the circus is so beautiful.. IT leaves you wanting more and more... If you're a newbie at read I'll suggest don't read it yet cause it might just confuse you... This book takes serious dedication and concentration and it's so so worth it... The dates and venues and change is time is a lot to process if you're new at reading or just hard on concentration... BUT it's a must read, go for it... It's a great experience and a great world to be lost in..

This book simply got me hooked with its each and every work. Its beyond one's imaginating power. It taught me a very good lesson that : The future is unpredictable, it is always changing. You can never control it. The past is gone and, you can never change it. All you have is the present. Just go with a flow, with every second changing.

And yes, the delivery was to the point :)

As children, it was easy to believe in magic - simple tricks of pulling a rabbit from a hat. But the Night Circus goes much beyond that, defining magic as something palpable but undefinable at the same time; an entity with a life of its own, breathing it's energy into the pages of this novel. The interesting part of the construction of the concept of magic - if it can be called that - in this way is that it can be perceived not as an insular sphere functioning on its own, but affected by developments caused by the actions of mundane people. The characters are richly sketched, and the reader comes to love them despite the fact that they seem liminal and ethereal.
The Circus itself sparks into existence in the reader's imagination, and only becomes more concretized as the book goes on, leaving the reader with and sense of poignancy as the last pages of the novel are flipped.

Not sit well).The only part i felt irked was how bailey had left everything behind to help the twins and the circus I can understand how invested the twins were in saving the circus because that is where they were born and their lives are intertwined with the circus but bailey has nothing to do with the circus except his love and aspiration for the circus.The mysterious guy in the grey suit also adds to the charm of the book.

The book was tad slow for me but this book was a welcome break from all the fantasy stories we have all read and known for years.All in all this a good read !!!!

The Night Circus is a book which is quite difficult to summarise, but the main gist of the book is that two extremely experienced magicians pit their best students against each other. Everything about this book is so enchanting, the ribbons, the ravens and the rêveurs. Erin Morgenstern took me to a dreamlike world which I did not wish to leave. Utterly magical. An extraordinary feat of imagination and stunning characters made this book worth the read.

Its a lovely book, one of my most beloved books, the story is nice, if you are going to read this, I will suggest that you read it at a time when you are completely free and no one will interrupt you, sit near a window, let the sunlight fall into its pages, and listen to some slow music violin or accordion based, the theory of everything ending theme will fit perfectly, its just magical, I wish there were more novels like this, but its hard to find.
