Hi Everyone, it’s my sincere suggestion NOT to buy this phone. I purchased this less than a month ago. Haven’t installed any major 3rd party apps and still this phone is troubling me. It shuts down automatically and then it becomes a huge problem to restart this phone because everytime you restart it, it switches off again that very moment. At this very time when I am writing the review, the phone is not even restarting now. My money is wasted. This phone is not worth buying. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this phone.
I bought a phone from Amazon and within a week I faced issues in the phone and amazon engineer visited home and rectify the product. After a month I am still facing same issue and now I visited the customer team in pitampura, Delhi than they refused to serve it without any charges and demanded a charge of rs2200 despite talking to their manager but no solutions. phone is just a two months old with lots of issues.
I was sorting phones for my mother as this is her first smartphone. I wanted to give her something that she would remember and find it easy to use. Thanks to Motorola for launching such a good smartphone with a huge battery backup to spare. One charge lasts for 2 whole days unless spend on playing games, I mean for regular users.5000 Mah battery from other brands costs more than 10,000 rupees price range. Thanks to the seller for such prompt delivery.
I bought this phone for my father since he has been using Moto G3 for quite a while. Initially the phone looked good with all the features and everything. But after 6 weeks of usage, it started giving trouble. The screen started fluctuating for 2-3 days when calls came and then suddenly the background color turned white. The camera is okay and not so important as my father hardly takes pics. Sound quality is good. After looking at the initial Motorola devices, nowadays the standard of the budget phones has dropped. The only good thing about this phone is the battery and quick charging. If you want battery life, go for it. If you want life, don't go for it.
Battery life is very good for the kind of screen it has. Picture quality is okaish. Phone storage and memory is good. No issues with running multiple apps or games. Disliked: Purchased phone on end of July, within almost 5 months it died on me yesterday , mid work! Had 50% plus battery when it died. Doesn't respond to force restarts etc. Black screen of death! Appears other Moto G5 series phones are plagued with this issue too. If compared with launch price of apx 12,000 Rs, this phone costed me Rs2000+ per month. Worth the cost ? Don't think so!!
Edit, two days later of above: Moto replaced screen.
