Take your tunes for a jog with these form fitting hi-fi noise isolating earphones from monoprice! these earphones provide excellent response at all frequencies with an emphasis on full rich lows and midst they handle drops and sustains well and produce good punch at all frequencies making them well-suited for use with rock dub step hip-hop jazz etc. Three different sized ear buds ensure that these 'phones will always have the right fit. Note: for best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

These earbuds along with the Black & Reds come packaged in a box instead of a little baggy which makes them more desirable. They also come with three sizes of eartips making them much more comfortable than the single stock tip. The look to them is also intriguing.
On a side note, before using any of the monoprice headphones I burned them in using a burn in mechanism and pink noise for over 100 hours to ensure optimum sound quality. So these headphones were well burned in when I tested their sound quality. The quality isn't bad but it's rather uneven. There is very heavy bass which becomes overwhelming at times and the mids are very overpowered by both the bass and the highs. The sound is also kind of airy and it sounds "hollow" which is due to its off-balance sound.
The build quality seems good, not going to break easily. But the sound quality works at times for certain types of songs but really distorts others.
Overall they are not the best monoprice headphones I've had. Check out the others I mentioned.
UPDATE: The more I play general music through these the better they've started to sound. That and your ears get used to the sound. They are still not particularly even with some levels outweighing the others but they aren't bad. Still, there are better monoprice headphones available.
