About the Title:
As a child, there was an old staircase in our not so old home. The last but one step had one half missing. Irrespective of how many times we climbed up and down those stairs, our heart would have an 'Oh!' moment as we would unfailingly put our foot forward, only to be met by thin air.
Life has a penchant for throwing surprises at the most unexpected of moments. And every surprise leaves you with that same catch of breath, that same ‘Oh!’.
The Missing Step is a chronicle of such surprises - some pleasant, some not so much, some that are downright hilarious, and some that are heart-warming.
All stories are hand-picked from the best read and most popular stories submitted to the online magazine - Tell-A-Tale.com. We do hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
An e-zine that caters to the literateur in you, Tell-A-Tale is India's first online magazine that focuses exclusively on the ecosystem of stories and storytelling, both in the oral and written format. It is a platform for budding writers and storytellers to showcase their work to a global audience, at the same time delivering news from the literary world into your hands.
