My take: I will not be buying (this or any other) polished kodo millet again for that reason alone. Yet, those with a weaker gut may find polished millets easier to digest. Tip: cooking this millet in a pressure cooker made it sticky-soggy, so try soak for an hour in 3 times the water, boil, simmer, final cook in its own steam.
An easy, delectable kodo recipe: Soak kodo with moong dal. When cooking, add fresh small peas, green chili. Season dish with rye, cumin and curry leaves in oil. Sprinkle fresh coconut (& green coriander if you like), serve.
