Before I start with the technical part, the finish is impressive, tho can be nicked easily and needs handling with care.
The Xbox controller had already achieved near perfection in the Xbox One era, this is just a 2021 updated version of the same. The triggers are a tad bit smaller and more grippy, as it has a lot of the pattern on the back, as in the close-up image which makes it easier to grip if you have sweaty palms. These were initially introduced on the PUBG edition xbox controller (wasn't launched in India)
The main reason I wanted a controller was for couch gaming (fifa, WWE, Forza, Days Gone etc.)
Now, if you're planning to buy this one for windows, do know two things - the headphone jack doesn't work without xbox wireless reciever (share button works only with Xbox consoles) and many multiplayer games have a multiple input issue (the Xbox controller being detected as two controllers) with the new Xbox controller on Bluetooth, I faced this on FIFA 19 and WWE 2k19. Single players work fine wireless. Current workaround for multi-input bug is to use the type c port and use it in wired mode, but that defeats its purpose, for me at least.
Coming to type c and battery life, the only way you can use this as a rechargeable controller through the type c port, is to buy the Xbox plug and play kit which is another 2k, if you find a seller, the other way is to use a set of rechargeable AA batteries, which is what I'm using. So without the plug and play kit even the type c port loses its use.
So, unless you've a wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket, or you want this one for the looks, go for it. But if you're on a tight budget, I would highly suggest you either go for the cheaper ones (I bought a cosmic byte controller as well, zero game compatibility issues, but huge reciever and cheap plastic build, but worth its price), or scour the used market for xbox one controllers, they are virtually same when using with windows and you might land a better deal than this. I think if you're spending this much, might as well go for the X1 Sport Red version, you'll get rubber grips as well. Or get one made from Xbox labs, comes around the same price.
Verdict - a solid product with a few unfortunate quirks, that could definitely have been sold for slightly lesser price
