I agree with the majority of the reviewers that the cd accompanying the book is a wonderfully guided meditation. However, the content of the book disappoints me a bit. Basically, it can be summed up in one sentence: "To meditate, just sit and close your eyes, focus on your breathing and relax". I was expecting a bit more, but maybe meditation just is that simple. For me it is just too simplistic. It includes some references to past life memories and meditation experiences of the author but I didn't find it very practical but rather too general.
But then again, as I said earlier, it all depends where you come from, what your experience with spirituality and/or meditation is and what your expectations are.
I was probably expecting too much from this small book. It's not bad, especially the cd is helpful, but don't expect too much. I guess there are better books on meditation out there.
