Update: Amazon actually sent me an replacement, and Maximapower also offered to replace it for me. Received the new one from Amazon in a few days. Took out the old battery and heard something rattling inside. I am guessing a cell came loose and that could be why the battery wasn't performing as it should. New one is working much better. Updating rating to 4 stars.
Only problem is that with the battery installed the antenna is now out of the battery compartment but it's really has nothing to do with the battery.
For the Chumby One, this battery fits perfectly and provides a reasonable amount of backup time. I do not know exactly how much, because I frankly don't rely on it-- the chumby remains plugged in, and the battery only comes into play when I am moving the device from location to location. For this, the battery is perfect.
