This is one of the best books. If you want to prepare for aptitude then it should be your first book and believe me you will not need any other book for conceptual clarity after this one.

Pros-
1. The major focus of the book is on conceptual clarity. If you want to clear your concepts then this is the best book. No other book can match it in terms of conceptual clarity.
2. Shortcuts are also provided in a huge quantity.
3. So many solved examples to understand the concepts well.
4. Exercise is also given with solution which will enhance your understanding of the topics.

Cons-
1. The number of unsolved questions in exercise is less.
2. Some topics which are asked in SSC CGL in a great quantity (like Geometry, Trigonometry etc) are not covered properly. So for these topics you need some other source.

Final comment- One of the best books for aptitude. You should definitely go through it if you want to make yourself conceptually strong.Most of the short tricks are also given in this book. No other book contains so many short tricks.

Worth buying, this book is epic, trust me the way this book has shortcuts it's really impressive, but yes it's not a complete supplement as the name suggest it has the required quicker solution to problem explained using concept but for practice one needs a book like rs aggarwal or any book which offers ample of practice, the method is simple solve any chapter from this book hardly 50-60 example in each chapter and believe me every question is unique and then practice it from some book as mentioned above and you are done. But the paper quality isn't that good but is good for this price range.

This book is designed for competitive exams. Question level is good. Some questions are of Bank PO level. It is required to have basic idea of the chapters before using this book. Shortcut tricks are there. But the problem is that there are too many formulas that are necessary to mug up if you want to solve the sum by shortcut method. Some of the answers are incorrect. If you are purchasing this book then it is advisable to order Practice Book On Quicker Maths also. It is practice book by same author and it will surely help you because "practice makes perfect".
