I purchased the mouse offline in 2010 for little over 9k. Still working as a beast. But price of the product here is absurd, no idea on what basis they have placed it so high

You will not find a better mouse. There is a damn good reason that the mouse now sells used for what it used to sell new (I bought it $60 new). It has phenomenal feel to it. It the left and right click buttons are very smooth and have worked for me for over 3 years. Yes, I have owned this product for 3 years. Never once have had a complaint. I greatly enjoyed the ridiculousness of being able to custom weight the mouse at first, then I actually appreciated it later because it actually helped with how the mouse would slide across your desk (no joke). The back and forward buttons on the side of the mouse, to be completely honest, I rarely use. Additionally I never ordered a custom grip for the mouse but I did like the first two that came with it. Additionally I have never really used the free scroll function in the mouse but have had fun with it in CSGO at the beginning of rounds. Other than these things I still ike each feature of the mouse including the "gaming profiles" and the ability to change the dpi of the mouse with the buttons on the top of the mouse. The best part of that is you can open the logitech gaming software to custom adjust each level of the DPI settings to the exact amounts you want. (For example you can make setting #1 - 1300 dpi, setting #2 - 1600 dpi, setting #3 -1650dpi, etc) and you can make that anything you want it to be. Best feature.
If you read nothing else but this paragraph this mouse is worth it. I wouldn't buy new for $200 unless your Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. Best mouse I have ever owned. Logitech was stupid for discontinuing it.
***UPDATE***2/5/2014 The last few days this mouse has been acting erratically and it gave up the ghost to the point of not even being recognized by the pc in any of the 6 USB slots. Upon calling Logitech and this is the reason for this update, is Logitech is saying they no longer have this model available to replace under the warranty and can only offer the G500 or G600 as a replacement. Well sports fans I have had a G500 and it is no where near the quality of this(G9X)mouse. That's like saying ok you bought a Cadillac and we'll replace it with a Chevrolet. I was told after saying that I didn't care for the replacement and felt 'let down' by the offer and would like to speak to someone that has a little more clout because I see that they are still being sold here and elsewhere. The price has also tripled(that may be the rub)since I purchased it. I intend to pursue this and NOT accept an inferior product as a replacement. Would you? I don't think so. I will keep this review abreast as the saga unfolds.
***UPDATE***2/7/2014 Logitech is now offering the G700S rechargable 13 program in lieu of the G9X as per an email. I feel if I hat'na bucked it would've been the G500 or G600 so stay on your toes if yours goes out don't settle for less. The G700S seems like a fair trade I'll miss the weighted feature as I like mine heavy as possible. The switchable grips were nice too it's too bad Logitech let this series die. The good news is the G700S comes with the transceiver that'll work with other stuff down the road plus liking corded models for gaming it comes with a 5' usb cable and I have a drawer full of cords from 3' to 16' so no sweat.
