It's good for the price.Let me line out some of the good and bad things about it.
-No heating issues
-Nice to have R5 graphics 2GB
-Works perfectly with windows 8/10
-Heavy softwares, tested fine with this,(BEST PART ABOUT THIS LAPTOP)
-Does not freeze at 80% CPU load
-Plays 4K videos without any issues
-AMD A8 rocks
-Palmrest is thin plastic (ok kind of), other brands in this price range like Dell, HP etc have better palmrest quality
-Shift key on the Right is on a difficult location. You shall end up pressing UP arrow many a times
-Only 1XUSB 2.0 ans 1XUSB 3.0
-Battery charges slowly and discharges quickly
-no express charging option in BIOS
-Un-uniform charge from the battery to the board may sometimes cause the touchpad erratic
OVERALL: This laptop does the work for which i bought it.No freezing issues even once.
Previously I reviewed the i3 version of lenovo ideapad 110 which is mainly made for daily usage. But this AMD A8 version of lenovo 110 is made for entry level gaming which can also be used as a daily driver.
#These are the specifications:
►2.5GHz AMD A8-7410 processor.
►R5 M430 2GB Graphics card
►1TB storage ,8 GB RAM DDR3 (not DDR4 like the i3 version)
►15.6 display with resolution of 1366*768
►3-cell, 24 Wh Li-ion battery ,2.2 kg weight,

As you may already know that this laptop doesn't come with windows pre-installed .You can download windows 10 from online and install it by yourself.Just search youtube, there are many tutorials available. You can download all the drivers from Lenovo website. Don't forget to install AMD catalyst software ,which is for the graphics card. Also please install LENOVO SERVICE BRIDGE.
-Good value for money
-Huge 1 TB storage
-2Gb entry level graphics card
-Average battery life
-Short charger cable
-old DDR3 RAM
●[DESIGN] - The desing is identical to the i3 version.Considering the price tag ,you can't really expect high quality chassis. The enter body is made of polycarbonate plastic which is a lil fingerprint magnet. The lid feels pretty nice, smooth and “grippy” so it’s easy to carry it around. With a slightly different finish, the interior of the Ideapad 110 resembles faux leather to touch but it’s easy to see that it’s plastic. The wrist rest area is solid and rigid. The same goes for the trackpad area, which uses two stiff mouse buttons instead of a whole touchpad plate and I strongly prefer this design on a low-end machine for sure. Usually, the entry-level notebooks have flimsy touchpad design so the one on the Ideapad 110 will suit most users pretty well.
●[DISPLAY] -The Ideapad 110 uses a budget 15-inch WXGA TN panel with 1366 x 768 HD resolution ,which is widely used in most of the budget devices. In real life you may not find much difference until you compare it with some beastly displays like the Retina ones. Though it is good for watching or streaming HD videos, surfing the Web, working on document and all.its clear and crisp enough for the price.
●[KB] -A Back lite keyboard is usually not equipped in budget laptops, same goes with this one.The keyboard is decent for the price range. The short key travel is understandable but the feedback when pressing the keys should have been a little bit better.Anyway ,most people may not notice it unless they compare it with high end devices.
●[SPEAKERS] - The speakers are in the front ,above the KB section. Well ,as usual it isn't quite loud. However, for daily use or moderately loud music, it's going to be just fine.I didn’t notice any major distortions at low, mid and high frequencies but as I said ,the maximum volume isn’t high enough.Anyway, You can always buy a bluetooth speaker for better and louder audio.
●[GAMING -] It comes with 2GB radeon R5 m430 graphics. Don't just get carried away by the graphics memory. Its not just the graphics memory which makes a graphics card better, there are many other things. Anyway ,this version of graphics card is just for entry level gaming although it is slightly better than the integrated graphics in the i3 version of ideapad 110.
You can play fifa 15 , F1 racing ,tomb raider without any lag at adjusted graphics settings.
●[PERFORMANCE] -Although this is a budget laptop, it does not stick out in performance .I mean ,For normal day to day tasks such as web surfing, video playback, on demand videos, and word processing this is quite enough for many. You will notice slight heating during multitasking or so ,but that's ok.In terms of daily usage the i3 version is better but only by a very small margin. If you are a pro with video editing and stuff then i would recommend getting something with i5 or i7.
● [WINDOWS 10] -It runs the latest windows 10 creators update perfectly without any lag or so.Please don't forget to download all the drivers from lenovo site. There is an inbuilt gaming mode in windows 10 which surely helps boost its gaming performance at least to some extent.
●[RAM ] -Its 8GB ram but unfortunately its a DDR3 RAM. It is to be noted that the intel i3 version of ideapad comes with DDR4 version which is far better.Anyway most people will not notice the difference in day to day usage.
●[BATTERY ] - battery life here is lil below average because its just 3 cell and 24whr .So I got battery life around 2.5hrs on normal usage. If you are gaming them expect something less than an hour. I Also own another laptop ,the dell 3558 which offered around 6+ hrs of battery life but that one comes with 5th gen i3 and ddr3 memory.
The DDR3 memory or AMD processor should not be a deal breaker. Considering its specs its a very good value for money. If you want something just for daily task ,office and stuff. Go for the i3 version of hp 15-be016TU which in my opinion is the best laptop in this range. Otherwise if its just for gaming ,then go for this laptop. Anyway don't expect it to run high graphics intensive games.
Anyway, that's it from my review ,I hope it helps making your purchase decision. You can contact me or feel free to comment down below for any further information. And finally ,a thumps UP below will be highly appreciated.
I installed original windows 10 without activation key from micfosoft website for free and the same is working fine.
Plz switch off the automatic updates off after installation otherwise it downloads unnecessary files.
Very ergonomically spaced buttons. Easy to use and justifies the price.
Donot install any virus protection since windows 10 comes with the inbuilt virus protection.
All the drivers are downloaded from amd site for free and install the selected drivers.
8 GB ram work fine and 2 gb is dedicated to the display driver. As I am into mechanical 3D software Solidworks is taken care of the 8 GB ram flawlessly.
Conclusion: Its better than license install of windows and perfoms fine . Better than shelling out 35k to 40 k lappy. If you want reasonable price with high specs this one work as per requirement. Go for it.
Inbuilt speaker is very mild and below average . Need to attach external speaker. Webcam not good.
Battery last for 2 hrs max.
The dvd drive quality is very flimsy. I hope it works well.
The left and right click of the touchpad is connected and the two clicks can only be used from its ends. Thats a really bad design ergonomically but works fine. G50 model is infact better.
Go for it..
Dedicated graphics card with 2GB memory
Back up lasts for 2-3 hours for normal usage. Great for hone use.
Speaker is barely audible even at its loudest.
Lenovo support is below par. ( For me, only Dell support is good. The rest all are very incoherent )
If they fix that one problem, it's a brilliant buy at that price.
