as i said its benifits i had already discussed in mine first review..
let me point about its drawbacks..
1)has very less battery backup as compared to mine previous dell 15R inspiron...for watching movies you need power frequentlu
2)sound clarity is very poor...but you can extend it buying external usb speakers...
Screen : Very good. Video quality is great. Viewing angles are mostly very good. Brightness is also exhibiting a good range.
Keyboard : Actually helps you type better. Accutype works. If having issues, please turn off Num lock and go crazy.
**VERY IMPORTANT** : SOUND : Please note that a lot of people are NOT TURNING ON DOLBY. You have to install drivers and go to the Dolby software in the tray on the bottom right corner (where the time is present) - There you have to turn on Dolby, and lo and behold, your sound is transformed. It actually is very impressive, and due to the thin nature, the base still leaves a little bit off, but Dolby helps you set it and play with the equalizer how you prefer it, to get an optimal performance. Overall, no complaints.
Performance : On Win 8.1 Pro, overall showing very good responsiveness, apps opening lightning quick. Booting takes a small bit of time (about 1 minute) but this can be cut down if you understand how to turn off a few of the startup services. Only do so if you know what you're doing.
Gaming : Didn't experiment with heavy games, however, tried out the graphics on Asphalt 8, while multiple apps were open. Pretty fluid and decent.
Copying : Copied 41 Gb in about 20 minutes or so. USB 3.0 is very good on this. However, other apps slow down a bit when you're performing heavy tasks like this. Completely normal. You don't transfer 50 gb every day do you? The slow down was only very marginal.
Finish and materials : The top is a matte-finish like reflective surface black. Very interesting, and good. However, it isn't the same as the IBM laptops. It isn't cheap looking though, very posh looking. Keyboard space has a brushed metal finish look plastic to it. Very proper and premium looking. Very slim, and easy to carry. Easy to place on lap, and in multiple positions while you're relaxing on bed.
Audio Jack : Very proper tight fit. Impressed to see a high quality jack here.
Charger : Looks like USB, charges fast, however, battery seems smaller, and you might not get a large battery discharge. Lenovo compensates by offering an actual-functioning power saving mode. Try it out. Install drivers first.
HDD : I come from using a MacBook Pro. HDD's are history for me, however, this laptop has one, it is a wee bit audible, but not as much as a desktop. Just nitpicking here, so i can give you complete info.
Edit : Camera : Nothing to write home about : It's just OK. I think these days with 2 mp cams found in most entry level smartphones, Laptop makers should step up their game. Although no pixellation, or lag, or freezing panes, the camera is just OK.
Screen Glare : You may experience dry eyes if you put the screen on high brightness. Please make sure you're not using it too much in a fully dark room. Use brightness on low. If you can, get a screen glare guard.
Bag : Very impressive and cool looking laptop bag. The laptop case and restraint leave a little to be desired. It isn't tight enough.
