NOTE: The price keeps messing around. When I reviewed this laptop it was selling for 23k. Now after I reviewed it ,they Increased it to 26k.
Recently, one of my friend asked me to suggest him a laptop within 20-25k range. He wanted a laptop which offered decent performance, web browsing ,microsoft office etc. So, I went online and searched for the perfect option.I did a lot of research and analysed all choices before making my final decision and that would be this very own Lenovo Ideapad 110.
But I gotta admit that this ain't a perfect laptop because there are things you have to sacrifice because of its cheap price tag.

NOTE: I am posting this review on 19-06-2017 and my opinions are based on today's laptop market trend. So if you are reading this after 1 year ,then definitely not the best review to rely on.
●[DESIGN] -The build corresponds to the price level. The gaps are mostly even and rough edges are not palpable.Considering the price tag ,you can't really expect high quality chassis. The entire body is made of polycarbonate plastic which is a lil fingerprint magnet. The lid feels pretty nice, smooth and “grippy” so it’s easy to carry it around. With a slightly different finish, the interior of the Ideapad 110 resembles faux leather to touch but it’s easy to see that it’s plastic. The wrist rest area is solid and rigid. The same goes for the trackpad area, which uses two stiff mouse buttons instead of a whole touchpad plate and I strongly prefer this design on a low-end machine for sure. Usually, the entry-level notebooks have flimsy touchpad design so the one on the Ideapad 110 will suit most users pretty well.
●[DISPLAY] -The Ideapad 110 uses a budget 15-inch WXGA TN panel with 1366 x 768 HD resolution ,which is widely used in most of the budget devices. In real life you may not find much difference until you compare it with some beastly displays like the Retina ones. Though it is good for watching or streaming HD videos, surfing the Web, working on document and all.its clear and crisp enough for the price.
●[KB] -A Backlit keyboard is usually not equipped in budget laptops, same goes with this one.The keyboard is decent for the price range. The short key travel is understandable but the feedback when pressing the keys should have been a little bit better.Anyway ,most people may not notice it unless they compare it with high end devices.
●[SPEAKERS] - The speakers are in the front ,above the KB section. Well ,as usual it isn't quite loud. However, for daily use or moderately loud music, it's going to be just fine.I didn’t notice any major distortions at low, mid and high frequencies but as I said ,the maximum volume isn’t high enough.Anyway, You can always buy a bluetooth speaker for better and louder audio.
●[GAMING -] It comes with HD 520 GPU which don't have Integrated memory ,it rather utilizes the RAM memory. It is still capable of running games like FIFA 15, DOTA 2 ,CS GO, CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE and many more if you reduce the graphics settings.
●[PERFORMANCE] -Although this is a budget laptop, it does not stick out in performance .I mean ,For normal day to day tasks such as web surfing, video playback, on demand videos, and word processing this is quite enough for many.It has the latest i3 processor (6006u and not 6100(better))which can guarantee better performance than most in this price bracket. Its surely capable of handling day to day tasks with ease. Also some occasional gaming. If you are a pro with video editing and stuff then I would recommend getting something with i5 or i7.
● [OS] -This laptop doesn't come with an OS installed, anyway you can download and install the latest version of Windows 10. It runs the latest windows 10 creators update perfectly without any lag or so. There is an inbuilt gaming mode in windows 10 which surely helps boost its gaming performance at least to some extent .
●[RAM ] It comes with the old school DDR3 RAM which in my opinion is quite slow when compared with the DDR4 RAMS installed in laptops above 25k and so.Anyway you need not worry about it.
●[BATTERY ] - battery life here is lil below average because its just 3 cell .So I got battery life around 3hrs on normal usage. If you are gaming them expect something less than an hour.I found that the HP one offers slightly better battery life. I Also own another laptop ,the dell 3558 which offered around 6+ hrs of battery life but that one comes with 5th gen i3 and ddr3 memory.
Well ,there are few other choices like Dell Vostro 3468 ,which is currently the "Amazon's choice laptop" because it comes with the latest 7th gen i3 processor and a far better battery life. But as of now Dell Vostro 3468 is selling for 34k. Anyway ,the difference between the 2 generations will be small at best(5% to 10% difference). Its an i3 so its to be expected. The only reason to wait for the new chips to be released would be to see "if" Intel will lower the prices on the 6th gen chips and that's what have happened here ,in the case of Lenovo IdeaPad 110.
Finally, I didn't find any laptop in this range (20-23k)which can compete with this laptop. But it is to be noted that the battery life is not as good as claimed by amazon or lenovo.
