It was a wonderful experience to read this book. It awakened the travel soul within me.🤩 I have always loved traveling but life doesn't let us do all things we love.🙂 But I hope my dream to travel whole India and then whole world will get accomplished one day.🤘
.
The experiences of Parampara and Parichay took me to where they traveled through their words.✈️ I was enjoying the northern lights 😍 with them and worrying when they were missing trains. 🚃
.
I was encouraged to go on solo trip by reading Parampara's Istanbul trip and learned that how you can convince everyone if you first convince yourself.😃
I could relate my love for movies 🎬with her. And I was happier to read about a stranger's kindness to her. I actually think that world could be so better if everyone acts kind-hearted to all people.😊
.
You cannot travel without expecting anything unexpected.😯 That 3️⃣ days unplanned trip was definitely full of surprises😮 to Parichay when they took other longer route for Leh than to wait for Rohtang pass to open. 🛤️
And I was so happy to read about couch surfing app 📱and culture exchange thing.🔁 That experience renewed my dream to see northern lights. 🌌
Trekking actually requires great health and that reminds me I need to first be fit for my travel dreams.🧗
Road trip is a great idea but I definitely need good company for that. 😉 Just imagine, you with your friends on a road trip with good music. 🎶 Awesome!
.
This is a must read book for any travel lover and it's very aptly described. The description was not so long where you get bored otherwise I don't prefer much nonfiction.

After adapting to the travel lifestyle, the lockdown forced us to pause and reconsider our travels, our choices, our experiences, and above all the learnings that came along the journey. The most memorable stories from our travels are the ones that came with an element of surprise, a moment of failure, travel gone wrong, and move outside our comfort zones. Consider these stories as fragments of our reality or figments of fiction that have changed the way we look at life. In this book, we share our journeys with you.

Book : Learnings from my Travels
Genre : Travelogue/memoir
A travelogue of sorts, this book is a series of memoirs written by two avid travel bloggers, who decided to jot down their experiences the past year when they weren't able to travel anymore due to the pandemic.
This is divided into two sections, the first covered by Parampara, a bollywood fanatic for whom travelling comprised of going to her grandmother's house for the weekend. And the second part is covered by Parichay who has been travelling vigorously with his parents since he was a kid. The two different perspectives give us an interesting look into how they perceive their trips and the experiences they gathered on the way. ✨
I related to Parichay more in terms of the travel bug he had since he was a kid, since I belong to a similar traveller family, but as a woman, I definitely understood the ordeals Parampara went through, specially when she travelled abroad alone.
Through this memoir, they have talked about the Do's and Don'ts of a trip, and most importantly both the positive and negative aspects of a journey. We see a glimpse into their travel encounters, how they endured through blatant racism in international trips, but also found some unexpected kindness along the way.
A quick and interesting read if you enjoy travelling.

Travelling, it’s such a mesmerizing word, it flashes all those memories we made while travelling to some of the best places. This book is a collection of travel experiences of two famous blogger Parampara Patil Hashmi and Parichay Mehta. The first author talks about her experience as a solo traveller, the challenges she faced being a girl, the savings she spent to travel all the way to Istanbul, the discrimination she faced, the enjoy she felt being there. While the other author writes about his experience travelling with some company, he talks about different cultures and some of the best places waiting for you to discover……
This book is the first travelogue that I read and I’m so loving it, I wish I have read it earlier. This book inspires you to pack your back and explore the unexplored, it tells us all about the challenges that we can face, the problems we can come through, the experiences we can gain, the awesome unforgettable memories we can make and what not. It’s not just the collection of memories and stuff, rather it is a summation of all the questions with well explained and described answers. It’s something that you should read asap.
So, what are you waiting for? Just pack this book with your travel bag and fly like a free bird….
Happy Reading!!

Enjoyed learning about the different places and experiences that travel can take a person. The different food was very interesting to learn about. The people seemed so nice to the travelers.
