I was kinda worried that my one year old might get sick of playing with it after a while but actually when he's playing in his room this is one of the first toys he goes to. He really really loves the button on top and the tractor. The light switch also.
It has so many little things that really entertain the child and I love how it also teaches while playing. Which is one of the reasons why my sons toys are almost all leapfrog.
This farm house is very compact which makes it easy to store and is very convenient if you want to travel with it and have it in the car for your child. It's easy to take along to doctors offices or anywhere your child may need a little entertainment. It also has a yellow handle at top to make it easier to carry around.
Each side of this toy does something unique and different and teaches different things. The sound is adjustable and you can switch it from singing or talking. The cube is about knee high on my one year old son so it's not a small toy but not to huge and bulky either.
I'm very impressed with this farm it was definitely worth every penny and I would have to say I highly recommend this toy farm. It's brought hours of fun for my little guy.
This is a confirmed purchase I paid full price for this product and was given no compensation to leave a five star review. I have no relationship with this seller.
It's a nice toy. I particularly like how you can turn the key to "start" the tractor on the one side which is something fairly unique to most of these styles of toys. The switch to turn the farm light on and off is also super cute, though it is something that is common in the Leap Frog/Fisher Price genre.
Other activities include a climbing spider, a door that opens and shuts, a shutter that opens and shuts, a pony to push, and a bunny that "can be dragged back and forth that makes a ticking noise.
There are lots of fun sounds and lights, which (of course) unfortunately require batteries. The best part is it's portable, so if your baby bucks the trend of sleeping in the car (like ours does) then they have a little busy box for long trips.
The down side is, as mentioned above, lots of activities that are similar to other toys and design mechanisms that are recycled from other toys in the brand. So, if you have a lot of leap frog or fisher price toys, the novelty for these activities may have already been spent.
It's definitely well worth the price, which at the time of this writing was under $15
My husband likes the side where you push a lever and there is sound and lights and I think it's a motorcycle or a car on the side.
There are many features on this Play Farm that I have shown grandbaby but he hasn't gotten the hang of it himself. He just started walking so he's more about locomotion but will land for periods of time.
I like that it has a handle and is light because he likes handles and crawling around carrying things. He hasn't gotten the hang of carrying things and walking.
Planned to give this to grandbaby at Christmas but Grandma could not wait. :)
