This USB Flash drive features USB 3.0 for quick and easy transfers of music, video and more. Its practical design makes it ideal for everyday use at work, home, school or wherever you need to take your data. UPDATE 1/1/2018 - Survived (with cap on) full wash cycle in the washing machine with no damage. Nice!
UPDATE 8/2/2018 - All 3 of these USB drives that I purchased are still working fine, within their expected limitations (as mentioned in original review above) - even the one that went through a full cycle in the washing machine (w/cap on). :)

There are no lights anywhere on this USB flash drive, so if its reading or writing, your guess is as good as mine. Kind of makes it like playing roulette with your data when you plug the USB drive from your PC. Even doing the safe-disconnect thing in Windows does little to comfort me that the drive has actually responded to the command, as it sits there mute like a statue, with no indication if it has power, or if it's in a reading or writing cycle. Horrible design.
If you are just looking for something inexpensive to install software, create a recovery drive, or move small amounts of data around, this will probably be fine. However, if you are looking for a high performance USB flash drive, look elsewhere, this isn't it.
I used one to make recovery media for my new gaming laptop, so I could wipe the drive and do a clean install of Windows, but still have the ability to return to the factory configuration (should I ever need to). And I used another to create the Windows 10 installation media and do the clean install. Both operations worked as expected, so no complaints there. I also like that they are white and have flat sides (makes them easy to label).
