The citrus knife (yellow) is sitting in my drawer unused. Seriously? How much citrus do I need to cut?
The paring knife (green) is my go-to knife. I'm a huge fan of Kershaw and this knife doesn't disappoint. A little more flex and it'd be the bees knees.
The utility knife (blue) is so-so. It does all things okay but none of them spectacularly. It is a nice color though so there's that.
The santoku (purple) oh my. I'm pretty sure someone took a mold of my hand while I was sleeping and formed this blade around it. This is the kind of knife you might consider having surgically grafted to your arm though even then it probably wouldn't feel as natural.
The slicing knife (red) could probably cut through the fabric of time and space.
The bread knife (orange) makes me wonder why I ever went through life without a bread knife.
With such great things to say about these knives, why is it a three star review? I was cutting some bread the other day with the bread knife. Lo and behold, halfway through a mouthful of bread, I notice an odd orange tinge. Yeah, the blade coating decided to rub off a little bit. I hand wash these knives and treat them pretty nice. I even tell them how much I like them. It might have been the heat of the bread but I feel that's a bit weak for two to three month old blades. Obviously I'll be watching the rest of the knives for deterioration, especially since I sleep with the santoku (told you, I love that blade.)
