At Jiwa, we live ‘pro-local’, and when it is something as versatile as Ragi, the benefits get praised to the skies! Also called Nachni or Finger Millet, Jiwa’s Organic Ragi Flour is one of the most adaptable gluten free flours and can be used in a variety of recipes from bhakris to the super “cooling” ragi malt. With the signature Jiwa milling process, the grain retains its dense nutrition content, and that ensures that our ragi flour makes and bakes better. Add it in your weight loss foods’ list to make satiating meals, and let its abundant antioxidants take care of your wellbeing too.

- Cooking Method:
- Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough with 1 cup Jiwa organic ragi flour, ¼ tsp salt, some cumin seeds, water as needed, and coat it with ½ tbsp oil. Keep aside for 5 mins.
- Make 5-6 balls of equal size. Roll reach one out into a medium size circle.
- Roast on a greased hot tawa till brown spots appear on both sides. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS: Jiwa Organic Ragi Flour - 1 cup, Jiwa Gluten Free Maida - 1/2 cup, Yogurt - 1/2 cup, Ginger - 1 inch, grated, Green chilli - 1-2 finely chopped, Few curry leaves chopped, Coriander - fistful, finely chopped, Onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped, Cumin seeds - 1/2 tap, Salt to taste, Water - 3 cups, Ghee - for roasting.
COOKING METHOD: 1. Mix all the ingredients together to make a lump free batter. The batter should be a really watery consistency, so add more water if necessary. 2. Rest the batter for 15-20 minutes. 3. Heat a dosa skillet, and sprinkle the batter all over. This will take a bit of practice, but is as much fun once you get the hang of it. 4. Brush some oil on top, and let it cook both sides. 5. Fold over and serve piping hot with ghee podi or mint chutney!

In fact the look, feel, taste and smell is almost like an enigma - makes one wonder what it might be?
Highly Recommended for use as glue for sticking lids of pots when making dum biryani though only 3-4 times costlier than normal flour.
Amazing bonding substance for sticking newspapers and other waste paper.
Exceptionally environment friendly as it produces limited Greenhouse gases thus protecting our ozone layer.
Go for it!

I prepared roti & dosa .
For , making dosa,it takes little more oil to cook.
For making roti it takes time to get roasted.
