Sabela Balsa was born in Basel (Switzerland), although she grew up in A Coruña (Spain). She currently resides in Madrid.

Sabela holds a degree in psychology, a postgraduate research master degree in organizational behavior, and a doctorate in psychology of health and psychosocial processes in organizations with an emphasis on change management, organizational culture and leadership.

Her personal and professional career, as well as her interest and affinity for other cultures, communication, and languages, have prompted her to live in different countries (United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium, in addition to Spain) and to travel extensively. Her professional career has been developed mainly in international organizations.

Reading and writing are two of her great passions. For some years now, she has enjoyed putting on paper the voices, thoughts, and most unsuspected aspirations of her characters in contemporary fiction novels.

Sabela Balsa is the author of "Insects too have a heart" (February 2021).
