I had been thinking about reading this book for quite sometime and even after having procured it for more than five months, I kept ignoring. I do not regret not having read this before and I'm glad I read it now. Honestly, I did not know the discrepancy still going on in the hills of West Bengal were that old. I thought it was a phenomenon that began a couple of years back. Surprisingly, I had never read any book/ story before set in the foothills of Himalayas. I was impressed with the literature. Having lived in the hills for more than 4 years, I could picture all the scenic landscapes the author painted beautifully in the book. I loved the characters that had been studied acutely and shown in their true light. Looking forward to Hullabaloo In The Guava Orchard now.
