"Life will become more beautiful if you just stop complaining"
The cover of the book is eye catching and attractive. At first I was confused why the cover shows one rich flower and other poor leaf as I completely book I came to reason behind it.
The good thing about book is small and light read. You can finish within one sitting. The language is also lucid and easy to understand. Also it has Minimum character so even beginner can read easily.
The plot start with little bit dull note but, takes speed after few chapters. Our protagonist sahil is in love with varsh. Varsha belongs to rich family. She has a brother mr. Dev. Sahil is from middle class family. He has friend vaibhav.
When sahil and varsha wanted to marry. But her brother mr. Dev pop up with twist. He put some condition in front of sahil. If he complete within few month he can marry her. And the game begins.
Will sahil complete all challenge ? Will varsha get married to sahil ? What happened in end to know more read this book.
I feel story is completely like a movie. You can guess what is going to happen in the end. Yet book keep you up hooked till end. Personal I feel this can made interesting with lots of twist and turn at the end.
Overall it's a small and good read. Do read this if you are beginner.
👉 I loved the book cover , it was attractive asa well the book title is catchy . 👉 The narration was overall easy and simple . 👉 The story was quite predictable , that I felt. But reading it was lot more interesting . 👉 The story depicts the struggles of Sahil to become eligible .
In an overall I loved the story plot .
For beginners , they can start reading with this book .
Plot: Saahil, a carefree unemployed orphan, earns almost nothing and struggles to make ends meet. To marry Varsha, who belongs to a very wealthy family, he must have a monthly income of at least one lakh rupees, a house, a car and a bank balance of ten lakh rupees. Such are the conditions set by Varsha’s brother for Saahil. If he fails to do so in just a few months, Varsha will be married off to someone else. .
My Opinion: Firstly, the book is really short & completed it in a single sitting. Guys, how many risk will you take for the person whom you love? Giving ourselves in love is done only by braver people because it takes alot of courage to do so. The book deals with Sahil: very carefree but he falls in love with a girl name Varsha who belongs to a rich family & as usual money, caste & position has always come between two pure lovers. The same thing happens with both the protagonists are facing critical situations but Sahil is facing more ups & downs because he has to complete certain conditions to marry his dream girl. During all this chaos he meets alot of different kinda people & meets different difficult situations & the rest story deals about how he faces them all. The book is a short read so that's altogether beneficial. The plotline is mediocre at times & the plot is predictable at times. Also, it's a good start for beginners.
Pros: Language is easy, the book is a short read. Plot though is usual but has some witty humourous events. The book has an emotional touch & altogether it was a good read. I do recommend it as a one time read.
Cons: Writing & narration at times just didn't worked for me, though I enjoyed some part of the book.
Plot : Let's talk about the plot of the book- Sahil and Varsha are in love with each other. Varsha, belongs to a rich family whereas Sahil isn't so rich. He's unemployed, and lives a life of struggle. Their chemistry and equation is fun to read. They both decide to marry, However enters Dev, Varsha's brother. He puts some conditions infront of Sahil, if he fulfills them, then he can marry Dev's sister. The conditions are that he has to have a monthly income of at least one lakh rupees a month, A house, A car, and a bank balance of ten lakh rupees. Failing to fulfill these conditions would lead to Varsha being married off to someone else.
The story picks up pace and it's very interesting to discover chapter by chapter whether Sahil fulfills those conditions or not.
Language, Narration and Entertainment factor:
The story reminded me a lot of the movie, 'Mr and Mrs. Khiladi' however, I enjoyed reading the book more. The writer's language and narration is simple and you flow through the book. The story though is simple, it's entertaining.
If there can be a movie or series made on this book, it would be great!
If you like simple, entertaining and filmy stories, this book is for you. :)
