Description for The Inability of Words (First Edition)
Harnidh Kaur is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Policy from St. Xavier's, Mumbai. Her first collection is called ‘The Inability of Words’, because, for all that she’s written, she hasn’t found the exact words she’s looking for. 66 poems spread across 6 sections, straddling contexts and topics both uncomfortable, and familiar.

When it first arrived, I was touched by the handmade design of the book, which is unique, and somehow, just perfect for the collection.
The outside, however, does not compare to the poetry it holds. As a young poet myself, I can easily say that this sets a benchmark in poetry for me. The Inability of Words is a collection I read with the resounding desire of how much I want a voice as honest, simple, profound and yet, impactful as Harnidh's. Her poems are not pretentious, but they make you see issues in an educated, new light. They are not sappy, but they press all the right buttons to make your heart warm. They do not rely on complex, strange vocabulary, but they have something I can't explain to them that just makes you marvel at the structure of her writing. They aren't the same words echoed in the poetry space right now, their uniqueness is unmatched and I think that's amazing. I think this collection is, hands down, one of the best I've read.
I've been recommending it unequivocally to every poetry enthusiast I know, but even if you aren't a poet, trust me, this book is for you. This book is for everyone.
Thank you, Harnidh. I'm afraid I'm very much in love with you now.

Restocking is usually done at the end of the month. But you need to follow her on Insta and have the notifications turned on all the time to know when exactly she restocks it as it's very limited and hard to get your hands on. Usually gets over in 3 hrs after being restocked
For the content of the book, I give it 5 stars. However, the copy I recieved was of a different colour (peach-ish brown). Honestly, the blue looks better, but I'd like to think I'm lucky to have a different one.
Oh, and it was author signed. :")
The poems are so beautiful that they will undoubtedly touch every chord of your heart and make you see how small everyday things and feelings can be portrayed so beautifully.
I've loved it enough to gift this to my entire squad, and we are in love with it.
Go for it in a heartbeat! ;)
