It is often stated as.
An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Jesse Tevelow’s Hustle can derive a metaphor from the law. As according to him, hustling unless acted upon by procrastination, fear, or imperfection can lead to life-changing results. The book Hustle is his way of showing how hustling can be done since he has authored the book in mere seven days in order to earn some quick money.
People write many things nowadays. And when someone says he has written a book in seven days, you don’t expect much from it because judging someone is our basic instinct. Surprisingly, this one is way better than the ones I have read which were not written in seven days. Hustle talks about many things, things which you might have already read somewhere, things which you vaguely remember and things which can motivate you.
And it starts with the need to hustle all the time. It generates momentum, which in turn inculcates self-confidence and finally, you want to do it more. I appreciate the idea, how Jason has shifted the pain of hustling to a desire of suffering of something good. The part where you stop and overpowered by fear, that’s where it becomes more difficult to start again. The book is not life changing but definitely is motivating. It also talks about reading more, embracing fear, releasing perfection, forgetting results, granting yourself permission to make mistakes and making small goals.
I am sure we all have read all of the above pointers somewhere. We have also read how a short plan has much more likelihood of attainment than the long-term plans. We also know how health, love and passion can bring fulfilment to one’s life. We all know it, so why this book?
Because we recognize it but we still have not implemented it. Hustle by Jesse Tevelow is a sweet reminder of what needs to be done like a habit. It is a small nudge which you need right now to get started. So, hustle!
I read two books each week and I can tell you that this book is great. This has all the information you need if you are sitting on the fence. I know I am on certain things. And while I'm already a Hustler, I'm now going to double-up the hustle.
I read it in 3 hours and felt I could go tackle anything!
