I haven’t known many geniuses in my life. Some brilliantly smart people, but only a tiny handful would I class as geniuses. I would class Douglas, because he saw things differently, and he was capable of communicating the way he saw things, and once he explained things the way he saw them, it was almost impossible to see them the way you used to see them Author: Neil Gaiman
It changed my whole life. It's literally out of this world Author: Tom Baker
Hitchhiker’s is packed with that unique energy, all barmy and bristling and bold. This book can be witty, iconoclastic, godless, savage, sweet, surreal, but above all, it dares to be silly. Fiercely, beautifully silly Author: Russell T. Davies, writer and producer of Doctor Who

The trilogy of five is full of good humor and is written in a style that you won't find anywhere. If there is one fiction series that you want to read, this is it.
A must read for science fiction fans which pays a homage to the theory that humans are rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. This book is a satire on human intelligence and arrogance . There is nothing new in the story and yet it is a breath of fresh air.
The nearly definitive edition is a large hardcover omnibus with a beautiful cover. The only thing missing is a bad a** dust jacket.! The paper quality is the best among all the variants of the book ( paperbacks have really bad paper quality). The spine of the book is one of the best and will hold on for a really long time (probably till your grandchildren dont mess it up). So, in my opinion, this version is the best to have on your shelf. Totally worth the money.!
At first, one might think it to be some sort of printing error, however the sentences after 308 and the beginning of 341 make no sense!!
All in all, it's a great book and you will definitely thank yourself for having read it, especially these days where one would find bat-$hit crazy 0-sense vampire love story hullabaloos mucking about.
Edit: So they have had a printing mishap. Pages 308 through 341 have been printed twice, and the rest of the book is alright (by far...)
Makes me wonder if there're other issues with the book!
