About the Author
Lala Har Dayal was a Indian nationalist revolutionary who founded the Ghadar Party in America. He was a polymath who turned down a career in the Indian Civil Service. His simple living and intellectual acumen inspired many expatriate Indians living in Canada and the USA to fight against British Imperialism during the First World War.

About the Author

Lala Har Dayal's reputation precedes him as one of the most influential nationalist revolutionaries of India. He was born on October 14, 1884 in Delhi and died on March 4, 1939 in Philadelphia, USA. Har Dayal did his master's degree in Sanskrit from Punjab University. He even received Oxford Scholarship for pursuing his education, which he later refused.
