About the Author
Eric Freeman recently ended nearly a decade as a media company executive, having held the position of CTO of Disney Online & Disney.com at The Walt Disney Company. The Gang of Four book may be the first to describe and publish these patterns, but the GoF book is not necessarily the best book that explains them well....and Thats where the Head First book scores very well.
I recommend it for anyone who wants to learn or even review their Design Patterns knowledge. It is worth it.
