Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, located in a vast castle atop a high mountain, was founded by two wizards and two witches: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin.
Harry Potter is a wizard, the only child of James and Lily Potter. He is famous for having survived an attack by Lord Voldemort when he was a baby. He is also sometimes known as ‘The Boy Who Lived’.
Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. He is almost twice as tall as most people and about five times as wide. He has a liking for strange and dangerous creatures, especially dragons.
Hermione, along with Ron Weasley, becomes one of Harry's best friends. She, too, is in Gryffindor house. She is very clever and hardworking and always gets top marks in her exams. Her parents are Muggle dentists.
Draco is Harry's arch-enemy at Hogwarts. A thin boy with a pale, pointed face and a sneering expression, Malfoy is in Slytherin house. He believes himself to be superior to Harry and hates him and all his friends.
Ron quickly becomes one of Harry's best friends at Hogwarts. He has bright red hair and freckles, like his five older brothers, Charlie, Bill, Percy, George and Fred. He also has a younger sister called Ginny. Ron is also in Gryffindor house at Hogwarts and has a pet rat called Scabbers.

So when I finally decided to grab a Harry Potter book, I wanted to have the best edition. I'm so glad I picked the illustrated version.
Words cannot describe the beauty of this book. I'm awestruck with absolutely every inch of it. I love the cover, the illustrations and the vivid burst of colours. The paper quality is amazing. And I'm sure I'll love the "story" as well.
I won't be exaggerating if I said it was difficult to believe that this book is available for such low price.
Out of all the amazing books I have ever owned, this one is my favourite. (I'm not letting anyone touch it, it's so beautiful)
The beautiful illustrations by Jim Kay add another layer to one's imagination of the Potter world. I felt like I was reading HP for the first time and could enjoy it again with the same enthusiasm I had as a 14 year old.
Why should you get the book?
The illustrations are rich and numerous, even the pages with no illustrations are not completely blank.
For a first time reader, this book will enhance the HP experience tenfold.
For a HP fanatic, this is a piece of art that needs to be on your shelf along with the other books to be passed on to future generations.
The illustrated works are released once a year by Bloomsbury around early october. I will like to collect all seven of the illustrated works as they are a joy to be had.
Should you spend money if you already own the set? Absolutely YES! It's worth it.
fan, and if you have space to collect books, this is a
must buy for you. A collector's edition, indeed.
Such productions inspire us to buy physical books. Kindle
books are good for simple texts. I buy Kindle books in
self-help and thriller genres.
Invention of photography changed the course of paintings.
Similarly, the mass production of Kindle books will alter
the way physical books are made. If publishers want
people to buy physical books, they must up their game.
The way this wonderful work has.
The volume is heavy. Yes. One has to put it on a table
to leaf through it. I love it, anyway.
If I was nitpicking, I'd just have one complaint. The back corners are slightly bent which is understandable due to transport.
Thank you so much Amazon... but please don't deliver such precious hardbound books in soft packages.
The book is large and heavy and gives the feeling of an ancient story book when you look at it and start reading, which I love.
For every HP fan out there, this is perfect for your collection!
Don't think too much, just buy it!
