The hard thing about good books that they are hard to follow but this book is an easy read on hard things.
I liked the writing style and you feel automatically connected. This book prepares you for the real business scenarios and gives you opportunity to think like a CEO. Also you connect emotionally as writer has very well explained the pain and struggle of a CEO.
The life of a CEO is all about struggle and struggle has no mercy.
Overall this is a good book and I would recommend to any one from the business / startup world.
Whatever his corporate/technology skills, Ben is no Gladwell or Moore. Expect no epiphanies here. The book is an endless recital of Ben's life and corporate experiences, written in an insipid humble-bragging style, with no insights that cannot be found in a dot com trade journal. You will do better to find a book with a little more substance.
Hard things about her things is a greatbook. It talks more about what to do when things go wrong, rather the other way round. I would highly recommend this book to people who are planning to start a company. Those who wa hard things about her things is a greatbook. Greatbook, essential learning for startup entrepreneur. Startup does not work like corporate, many principles and knowledge of management is irrelevant to them, this book is true to the heart. but somewhere you find just the knowledge from surface instead the depth of it, as no one can tell you the secrets of their business skills. for true answers you need to learn from yourself, inventing your way.
A greatbook, very different from similar books dealing with the subject of running companies as a CEO, taking decisions, executing.... A must read for anyone wanting to step into the Hot Seat of a CEO! Horowitz has told it all.
Excellent book that keeps it real as it explains leadership. Focuses on problems rather than making people feel good. I've worked at a lot of startups with similar issues, so it was great to see them written down. Loved it.
This book won't answer questions that ache an entrepreneurs heart and soul but will let them know that they're not alone. Greatbook if you want to feel a little better about your life as an entrepreneur.
