The hard thing about good books that they are hard to follow but this book is an easy read on hard things.
I liked the writing style and you feel automatically connected. This book prepares you for the real business scenarios and gives you opportunity to think like a CEO. Also you connect emotionally as writer has very well explained the pain and struggle of a CEO.
The life of a CEO is all about struggle and struggle has no mercy.
Overall this is a good book and I would recommend to any one from the business / startup world.
Whatever his corporate/technology skills, Ben is no Gladwell or Moore. Expect no epiphanies here. The book is an endless recital of Ben's life and corporate experiences, written in an insipid humble-bragging style, with no insights that cannot be found in a dot com trade journal. You will do better to find a book with a little more substance.
Excellent read. One of the best business/entrepreneurship/startup related books I've read. A very real, gritty, personal experience driven narrative that feels extremely authentic when compared to the many management books out there.
Excellentbook that keeps it real as it explains leadership. Focuses on problems rather than making people feel good. I've worked at a lot of startups with similar issues, so it was great to see them written down. Loved it.
