You have several options for mounting the battery for flight. Understand they WILL NOT fit the factory made battery housing. The first picture shows the difference in the size of the standard factory 500 mAh and the Heli-Max LIPO 1S 3.7V 1200 mAh battery.
When I am not concerned with recording video, I simply use two zip ties. The zip ties don't need to be cut off after each flight, so no additional tools are required and you aren't using hundreds of zip ties to fasten, remove, repeat for each flight. I simply slide the battery under the ties and go. The battery will block the FOV of the camera when installed in this configuration.
If I want to record video or take pictures I use the second configuration shown in the pictures. If you loosen the itty bitty Phillips head screws that hold the camera in place, you can slide the battery in - under the camera. Again, this requires a tool one time and only one time. Simply back out the screws about 2 turns and you get enough wiggle room to fit the battery. After the flight, you simply slide out the battery. No screwdriver required.
Charge time takes about....mmm, forever! So do yourself a favor and buy several. Don't forget to get another LIPO charger. Charging rates are much slower and using the wrong charger will destroy your new batteries.
Charge time does seem to take over an hour or so with the factory USB charger that came with the UDI U818A. Remember to never leave LIPOs charging unsupervised. Also, charge them where if they catch fire you don't burn your couch like another reviewer did when charging damaged LIPOs. A damaged LIPO WILL catch on fire, no "might catch fire" about it.
Flight time has greatly improved with these batteries in UDI U818A
Indoor flight time has increased from 6-7 mins to well over 14 mins. (Speed setting 1 and lots of simple hovering and basic maneuvering)
Outdoor flights has increased from 4-5 mins to 9-10 mins in wind up to say about 4 MPH. (Speed setting 2 and lots of aggressive flying)
If you don't have much wind at all, flight times run in the 12 min range easy.
These are great batteries and work very with in my quadcopter.
One more thing I like about these batteries over the cheap 500mAh batteries: My quadcopter does not shut off and drop in mid flight - they lose juice and my quad drops in altitude and then I bring it home to cool and get a fresh battery.

Camera = 16 minutes 4 seconds airborne
lights = 21 minutes 34 seconds airborne
Plain = 23 minutes 45 seconds airborne
Also fits LaTrax Alias battery holder, tight fit though.
