Just do it. If you want your sneakers squeaky clean, just buy it, this stuff is outstanding, you just need a few little squirt and you're off to the races, man oh man let me tell ya. Yes it is pricy and yes you may not want to spend your moolah but I've cleaned 6 pairs of shoes and the jug still feels full. So so so worth every penny. No buying regrets here. Just all around happiness

I haven’t left an Amazon review before, and would normally dismiss “freak incidents” like this to user error. I just wanted to warn other buyers not to make the same mistake I did. After checking out all of the reviews I had not seen any stating the product had an adverse effect on their clothes, so I figured “why me?” and didn’t bother to test it out before applying to all of my clothes since it seemingly had not happened to anyone else before me.

I followed all instructions (besides testing on the clothing beforehand which in hindsight I wish I had) perfectly and then went to wash the 4 T-shirts that I had applied the stain remover too. It was mainly just faded small grease stains from over the years that were likely not even visible before this to anyone else besides me, but I wanted to see if this would remove it.

Unfortunately it bleached all my clothes severely and ruined each shirt. I was bummed out as 3/4 shirts are no longer sold and the 4th was a bit expensive to replace. One thing that was pretty ironic was not only did it bleach the shirt, it didn’t remove the stain either which looked much worse against a bleached background (not that I can wear them now anyway). Definitely would say you need to try this out on every piece of clothing beforehand, don’t make the same mistake I did.

I would not recommend anyone buy this product. I’ve used many other stain removers before and have never had this happen (even on shirts made out of the exact same material).

Ultimately I take accountability and should have tested this out and only ruined one of the shirts before applying to all, but with no other negative reviews I am left questioning if I got a bad/old batch and if quality control is up to par with this company.
