2.0 out of 5 stars Very ordinary apart from having beautiful cover art
Reviewed in India 🇮🇳 on 13 August 2022
Was gifted with the two volumes. Tried the first volume. Didn't find it appealing. Moved on to the next after completing the first one. Now, after reading the second volume, I feel that both of these collections are like of a well produced and manufactured books that are a little better than Little magazine. Apart from very few stories, the collections actually fails to deliver. Most stories are bland, the narrative clumy and sometimes wayward. Sometimes, the science-fiction element is there only to indicate that it is a future and then that is used in the background to relate some emotional developments between the protagonists and the stories are developed on that. Very boring. One story stands out- 'THE MINISTRY OF RELEVANCE'...
