Singular visions of the future that will thrill, amuse, startle and intrigue in equal measure. The hunt for a new planet leads three explorers into a terrifying adventure. On an ordinary morning, the citizens of Karachi wake up to find the sea missing from their shores. The last Parsi left on Earth must find other worlds to escape to when debt collectors come knocking. How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Got the first ever science fiction anthology by South Asian authors! My first impressions are quite good; the book is hardcover and sturdy, pages are alright but that is how they print books nowadays. The cover looks reallly good. Yet to start reading it but I’m sure it won’t disappoint in that department.

This book gives an insight not only to the authors who are part of the sci-fi and fantasy genres of writers in India but also to how differently people perceive the future of the country and the world. With a mix of fantasy and potential future reality, this has been a reading experience that has had me at times laughing and at other times thinking about what the future holds for us as a nation and as citizens of the world. Intetesting read indeed

Though most of the short stories are good, half of it (14/28) is not sci-fi. Since I bought this thinking it was going to be sci-fi, I am giving it 2.5/5. If it were a collection of speculative fictions, I’d give it a 3.5/5
P.S: I had a detailed review that wasn’t published by amazon for some reason. Hopefully this will prevail.
