"Girl on the train", the title preety much says about the book. It's about Rachel who is an alcoholic, depressed and obsessed over her ex-husband.She hops on the train everyday and watches the people who resides by the rail track. Over time she had developed a feeling of oneness with a particular family who resides just near the stop of the rail track. One day she sees something happening at that house from the train and everything that she thought she knew about them changes. The book goes on to unfold many suprising stories as it is narrated from the POV of three characters and you will won't know what to expect. At some point of time you will feel like 'Oh! There can't be a bigger shocker than this' but you'll be wrong. The book is keep interesting till the very end and you will question yourself 'Is he the one?' till the end .

The girl on the train is just that, the girl on the train but is a good light read that is very enjoyable, nicely written and worth the time. I finished it in two days since it is a page turner and you want to get to the bottom of it, but dont expect it to be the best mystery novel you have ever read.

while the quality of pages, printing, packing and delivery are all good, the book itself was disappointing. I had expected a thriller like 'Gone Girl' but it turned out to be nothing like that. The novel started out well, dwindled in the middle and ended as a let down.

The quality of cover was not good and folded already when I received it. The story is not upto the mark, considering the buzz about it.

A racy read. Great piece of crime fiction that has come out recently. I strongly recommend the book for its rich storytelling attribute. A nice engaging tale that you can hardly stay away from reading in great breathless gulps.

A complex, intelligent and unpredictable plot. The characters are rugged, distinctive and flawed....the author is utterly unreliable..."what you will believe will never be what you will be getting"The emotions of a broken marriage and the repentance artfully crafted .If you're a fan of thriller and you enjoyed "Gone Girl" then this book is surely your cup of tea....
